17 June
We are pleased to announce that PaPE 2019 will be held in June in Italy at the University of Salento, Lecce.

10 June
Please note: SUNDAY WORKSHOPS take place at the main university building, not the conference venue.

07 June
A virtual special collection of JIPA has been put together especially for PaPE-goers - see Special Issues.

01 June
The programme and abstract booklet have been finalised.

05 May
There will be two Labphon student awards, one for best poster and one for best oral presentation. The decision will be made by a dedicated committee on the basis of the presentations at the conference. The winners will be announced at the closing ceremony. We are looking forward to hearing who the winners are!

28 March
Information about IPA Student Awards is available under the relevant tab.

27 March
The International Phonetics Association will allow delegates to apply for IPA Student awards. There will be three awards in the form of reimbursement of the early-bird registration fee. More details to follow as to how to apply.

16 March
The detailed conference programme is now live (see tab 'Programme')

23 February
Early-bird registration is now open!

17 February
Titles and authors of presentations/posters are now under 'Programme'.

17 February
The programme for the workshop 'Phonetics and Phonology of Loanword Adaptations' is now available.

15 February 2016:
Abstract decisions will be sent out shortly and a preliminary programme will be made available on the website within the next 2 weeks.

20 December 2016:
Submission is closed and we are delighted to have received 200+ submissions! The reviewing process has now started and notifications to authors will be sent out mid February.

05 December 2016:
The deadline for paper submission has been extended by a week until **Friday 16 December**

19 November 2016:
The German Research Council (DFG) will be providing financial support the conference. We are very grateful for this support!

31 October 2016:
The three satellite workshops have now been confirmed. Details can be found under 'Satellite Workshops'.

04 June 2016:
Our four invited speakers have confirmed! Check out the details under 'Programme'.
